Recent severe winter storms impacted communities across California—and CAL FIRE crews were on the ground responding. As heavy rain and hazardous conditions moved through the state, CAL FIRE worked alongside local and county partners to support storm response efforts. Crews cleared downed trees and debris, addressed flooding and debris flows, and helped secure damaged utility lines to keep roads open and communities safer. These storms aren’t the last.
