My name is Ty Slaugenhoup and I was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. I am currently a sophomore in college studying Exercise Physiology at West Virginia University. I started playing drums in the 6th grade and fell in love with it, I started to really get serious in high school when I dove into the world of concert percussion such as mallets, concert snare, and the timpani. Now, I try to focus my practice on the Quads. I am marching Rhythm X this winter and on track to March Bluecoats again this summer. I love making music, hanging with my friends, and teaching.
