"Meraki 2020 was def my favorite season as an educator. I was blessed to be surrounded by young and hungry staff. Because we were a new organization, we could do anything we wanted. We were all figuring out how we were going to tackle the season. It started when George Collins asked us, Why we were teaching? What were things we didn't enjoy when we were marching? I was blessed to be working with Sean Ye, a SMART and OPEN minded individual. The whole experience was just so collaborative and when we wanted to try things, we did. That's only one half the reason. The other half was simply caused we had some really really awesome students. The snares that season were so kind, genuine, and about the CRANK. They showed up prepared, did their assignments, reached out for help, and was ALWAYS POSITIVE. Most importantly, they trusted us, as a young and inexperienced staff.
