"One of the most life-changing moments for me in the activity was the final performance for Vanguard Winter Percussion 2016. It was the first time I had really felt emotionally connected with, not just the show, but the people I was performing with. That season was rough in so many ways, but it still to this day was my favorite season. We found out we weren't going to Dayton and I had to find a ride to get to rehearsal which was an 8 hour round trip. That season really showed me how important the people around you were. 'Doing the thing' wasn't just for the performance, but for your friends and for yourself. Because we didn't go to Dayton we lost a lot of really talented players. Needless to say, we all knew what we sucked at in our own ways lol. The amount of growth that season was insane and because of that, our finals performance just meant so much to me. Like...
