Global revenues from women’s sports are projected to exceed $3B in 2026, according to a new report from Deloitte.
Last year, revenues surpassed the $2.35B Deloitte projected to reach $2.41B.
Revenue in women’s sports has increased 340% since the company first launched the annual report in 2022.
As in years past, commercial revenue makes up the biggest portion at 45% followed by gameday (30%) and broadcast (25%) revenue streams. North America -- which has seen the launch of eight new leagues and expansion in the WNBA and NWSL since 2020 -- will continue to make up the greatest share at a projected 54% of the market.
