In this segment from Aerial View, Aerial Powers and Mariah Harris break down the ultimate underdog mentality while reacting to the story behind the movie GOAT. The conversation dives into how the film’s main character, William Harris, represents the mindset every underdog needs to succeed, and why those stories hit different for athletes who have lived it. They connect the film to real basketball history, including Stephen Curry’s legendary run at Davidson and Elena Delle Donne leading Delaware to the Sweet 16, proving that some of the greatest moments in the game come from players who had nothing to lose. Aerial also reflects on her time playing with Delle Donne on the Washington Mystics championship team, sharing why underdog teams often play with a different level of confidence, freedom, and hunger. From March Madness memories to the message behind GOAT, this segment is all about why underdog stories never get old. Watch GOAT — now in theaters and on digital. Subscribe for more...
