After a disappointing sunset shoot (though I did get to meet a cool couple out visiting the PNW from Ohio!), I decided to hang around the area and see what I could make happen after dark. Found this pull off spot that seemed like it could provide a unique shot, but the was way more traffic than I expected. Rather than trying to long expose the foreground, I messed around with light painting it instead. Didn't love any of the shots for a variety of technical reasons, but at one point a car had perfect timing and helped me light paint the midground 🤣 I stacked that image into one of my others and came up with this.
