Dane Valenti, a freshman from Marist University and proud Armenian is already making waves as he helps steer the Red Foxes to their second win of the season with a perfect 2-0 start. At the MIT Duals on April 4th in Boston, MA, Marist posted a strong 6:01.85, edging out MIT’s 6:05.92. A week later at the Occoquan Sprints on April 12th in Fairfax, VA, Marist turned in an even faster time, 5:44.0, beating nationally ranked Hobart College’s time of 5:45.0 and outpacing Jacksonville and St. Joseph’s.
