Celebrating some nice captures on @upperdecksports brand new 2020/21 UD Series One hockey cards - canvas subset. I shot these photos of Colorado Avalanche forwards Andre Burakovsky and Gabriel Landeskog prior to the 2020 NHL Stadium Series Game in Colorado Springs, CO at the US Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium. Outdoor hockey high in the mountains 🏔... one of the greatest venues I have ever experienced with an elevation of 6,621 feet above sea level. I was there for 5 days and it literally took me a couple of days just to acclimatize my body for working and shooting in the low oxygen environment. By the time I returned home to the low elevation of the prairies I felt amazing. I have to train in that situation more often. 😄 This was also my last major hockey event in the pre-covid world.
