You can never pass up an opportunity to line up Connor McDavid in your camera's viewfinder because you just never know where the images may appear. This photo became the face of sticker No.123 in the 2020-21 Topps Now NHL Hockey Collection. I remember taking this shot back on April 17, 2021 when Edmonton Oilers Captain Connor McDavid reached the 70-Point mark with 2 assists against the Winnipeg Jets. Connor would go on to register an incredible 105 Points (33G, 72A) in the shortened 56-game 2020-21 regular season. This is a textbook example of what I look for when shooting general stock photos of hockey players. Head-up, both eyes visible and focused on the play, with the team logo on the jersey completely unobstructed (if possible). Fortunately, Connor McDavid is one of the most consistently photogenic players to capture in these positions.
