"The Greatest of Them All" - Such an honour to have been able take this cover shot of the late great Dale Hawerchuk on the front of Game On Magazine's September / October issue (Year 9 Edition 1). This magazine has been out for a couple of months already and I only discovered it now (thank you, Scott Taylor)... the COVID world has me behind in the times. Either way, such a wonderful tribute article on our beloved "Ducky". This photo means so much more to me now than ever. I remember being a seven year-old in the mid-1980s and bringing a camera to the old Winnipeg Arena during a Jets open practice to try to capture an action shot of my favorite player, Dale Hawerchuk. Now more than three decades later being the sole photographer on the ice to capture this priceless moment from his Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame induction ceremony... and to see it published.
