Nine years ago today - on October 9, 2011 - I shot greatest postage stamp in the history of Canada... ok, well, I'm pretty biased maybe history of Winnipeg. 😜 The shot captured Nik Antropov scoring the Jets first regular season goal after relocating to Winnipeg. A moment frozen in time. Does anybody still have any of these stamps? This was a bittersweet moment for me as I had delivered mail for Canada Post for 8 years before losing my job due to cutbacks only 2 weeks earlier. In a funny kind of way this was me going out with a bang saying "so long post office" before making my complete career change into photography. Was I successful in my career choice?... that remains to be seen.
