Two years ago this week, Indy got a chance to experience a total solar eclipse. Something that Indianapolis isn’t expected to see again until 2153 from the predictions I’ve read. Honestly I almost didn’t even go out that day to shoot it because I thought it was going to be overhyped. Feels crazy looking back now. It’s one of my favorite shots in my portfolio and it almost didn’t happen. Maybe a lesson in there somewhere. Go shoot the thing you think is overhyped.
