Today is
#GlobalHandwashingDay. A day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of washing your hands.
Now more than ever, we all know to wash our hands to avoid spreading germs and viruses. Here is how to properly wash your hands:
- Wet your hands.
- Use a generous amount of soap that covers the surface of your hands.
- Lather the soap by rubbing your palm together. Be sure to scrub in-between fingers, the backs of your hands, palms and underneath your fingernails.
- Thoroughly rinse your hands.
- Dry hands with a single use paper towel or air dryer.
Washing your hands frequently is the best way to avoid getting sick and spreading germs that cause illness and disease. Use the above steps to repeat anytime your hands are visibly dirty or before and after hands on tasks.
