For years, Jon's OCD was classified as severe. He knew his obsessions weren't normal, and wanted help. . . . . In 2018, he underwent deep brain stimulation - a surgery that places electrodes deep in the brain and, in follow-on surgeries, implants batteries to supply an adjustable amount of electrical stimulation to those electrodes. . . . .
