Casting news is IN and there's a new Aragorn (AKA Strider) in Middle-Earth! 👀
At CinemaCon this week, Warner Bros. revealed who will make up the main cast of Andy Serkis's upcoming 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum' film. Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins), Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Lee Pace (Thranduil) and Andy himself (Gollum) will all reprise their roles from the franchise. Kate Winslet (Marigol) and Leo Woodall (Halvard) join as new characters.
The big news is that Viggo Mortensen will not return to play Strider (who is known mostly as Aragorn in the original 'Lord of the Rings') and instead, Jamie Dornan will take on the role.
The film will cover the search for Gollum in the lead up to the original 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.
