Sad day for independent craft beer. @newbelgium announced today that they will be selling 100% of the company to an international beer conglomerate. We at High Brau Taphouse are dedicated to selling only independent, Colorado brewed craft beverages. As much as it saddens us, we will no longer be buying any more from this legendary Colorado brewery. For now, however, we still have 2 of their delicious beers on tap. Mural, an Agua Fresca Cerveza Made in collaboration with Primus Microcerveceria is a crisp, fruit-forward, refreshing crusher. La Folie (pictured) is an absolutely wonderful Flanders Oud Bruin, a complex sour brown full of interesting notes including dark cherry, plum, chocolate and caramel.
