Every semester, students at the University of Missouri are charged an activity fee that funds various groups, amenities and initiatives on campus. As of April 6, the portion of the student activity fee that was allocated to multicultural student organizations will be combined with the funds designated for all student organizations. Filling In The Space, an MSA auxiliary, was also informed that they could no longer receive MSA funding. This means for the 2026-2027 school year, Mizzou’s identity-based organizations — the Legion of Black Collegians, the Asian American Association, the Queer Liberation Front, the Association for Latin American Students, Four Front and FITS — will be drawing from the same funding pool as the rest of Mizzou’s 600+ student organizations.
