Harsh winter weather caused Port Jefferson waterfront resort Danfords to shut down its marina for the summer as the company makes repairs to the dock. In a statement, the parent company said the marina is closed "to allow for a comprehensive rebuild of the marina’s critical infrastructure caused by the "unprecedented ice damage that occurred" this past winter.
