EAGLES DEFEAT LIONS: The jserra.girlslax team opened Trinity League action on Wednesday with a 16-6 defeat at the hands of the Santa Margarita Eagles at JSerra Catholic High School. Freshman Sophie Caraballo scored three goals to lead the Lions’ attack. Senior Kate Berkus added two goals, with junior Viv Devir tallying a goal. Sophomore goalie Natalie Ng recorded 10 saves.
