LIONS SHINE AT TRINITY PAIRS TOURNAMENT: The jserra.beachvolleyball team enjoyed a banner day at the Trinity League Pairs Tournament on Wednesday at the Brookhurst St. Beach Courts in Huntington Beach. The Lions took home both first and second place in the tournament, as seniors Sara Moynihan and Emma Champagne claimed the tournament title with seniors Skylar Noble and Presley Johnson finishing in second. Moynihan and Champagne earned tournament MVP honors. Sophomore Ava Champagne and junior Berit Brinkema placed fifth overall. Those three pairs earned first team All-Trinity League honors. Senior Catherine Beadles and freshman Rory McKelvie finished sixth, while juniors Lyla Gerstenberger and Sarah Thorp claimed seven place.
