We can’t get enough Moon joy 🌙
For the first time ever, astronauts travelling into deep space and astronauts orbiting Earth picked up the line… and called each other.
On 7 April, the crew of Artemis II spoke with astronauts aboard the International Space Station in a historic ship-to-ship call.
From lunar distance to low Earth orbit, they shared a moment that felt both extraordinary and very human: voices connecting across space.
On one side: the
@nasaartemis II crew, heading farther than humanity has gone in over 50 years.
On the other: Expedition 74 aboard the
@ISS, including our astronaut
@soph_astro, continuing life and science in orbit.
Different missions. Different destinations. One shared journey. Because wherever we go, we go together.
Now’s your turn: what would you say if you could make a call… from space?
