Panathinaikos finished the 2025-26 EuroLeague regular season in style by overwhelming Efes 97-62 at Telekom Center Athens in the Greek capital in Round 38 on Friday. Panathinaikos finished seventh in the regular season with a 22-16 record. It will face AS Monaco in the seventh-place play-in game next week, with a chance to reach the playoffs against second-seed Valencia Basket. Efes closed the regular season with a 12-26 record. Nikos Rogkavopoulos paced the winners with 24 points, a new career high, missing just one shot. Kendrick Nunn added 18 while Mathias Lessort and Kenneth Faried each had 14 for Panathinaikos, which led 45-38 at halftime and boosted its margin to 71-43 at the end of the third quarter to cruise to an important victory. Jordan Loyd led Efes with 15 points. Sehmus Hazer added 13 while David Mutaf had 10 for Efes in its final game of this EuroLeague season.
