Barcelona secured a spot in the Play-In Showdown with a convincing 95-69 victory over FC Bayern Munich. The Catalan team finished ninth after wins by Monaco and Panathinaikos, and it will face Crvena Zvezda in their first round of the play-in. The home side took control of the game between the first and second quarters with a 13-2 run fueled by the energy of Dario Brizuela and Will Clyburn, entering halftime with a double-digit lead at 42-31.
Consecutive three-pointers from Jan Vesely, Clyburn and Tomas Satoransky at the start of the third period widened the gap even further, and by the time the final quarter began, Barcelona had established a commanding lead of 68-48 that left the outcome of the contest beyond doubt.
Clyburn had a monster performance of 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in just 26 minutes on the floor to pace Barcelona. Youssoupha Fall followed him with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Brizuela and Jan Vesely netted 16 and 11 points respectively...
