📍Herndon, VA - The best homey meal I had is at this hidden gem authentic Afghan family-owned shop of 33+ years! 😍 The family is so sweet 🥹 They specialize in charcoal (not gas!) to grill their kabobs and they make their spices and everything from scratch every morning with the highest quality ingredients! Everything was so tasty and comforting (loved the variety of sides both vegetarian and non vegetarian options) and the flavors were on point! They even make their Afghan ice cream and other desserts from scratch! The cream they put on top of the ice cream and pistachios add for a very unique ice cream experience! I also never thought I would like jelabee but theirs is sooo good and one of the best/crispiest baklava I’ve had!
