Abstraction is a depiction of a process. Sometimes it’s a recording of this, other times a contemplation on it. It's born of thought, materiality, of observation and learning. It’s not so much an outcome, a guaranteed output, a pleasing or jarring circumstance, or a system to achieve this, but an awareness of the participation.
