Welcome to Day 3 of the James Beard Foundation Action Summit in Asheville, North Carolina.
On the final day Chef Works joined attendees for closing group sessions focused on choosing key issues whether that is climate worker rights or nutrition and building collaborative coalitions around them. Participants collaborated in hands-on action planning to translate their insights into clear local and state level blueprints that can spark real accountability.
The day ended with a meaningful volunteer initiative alongside Riverlink where chefs and advocates put their values into practice by working to preserve Asheville’s waterways. It was a powerful and poignant conclusion that turned ideas into action for a more sustainable future.
Chef Works was there standing alongside chefs and changemakers as they committed to tangible advocacy community care and environmental stewardship.
