In 2017, I performed and spoke on a panel at the Bellevue Library’s Xperience! Music Festival where I met Amy S. from microsoft. I almost skipped it because… a festival at a library? But I’d already worked with some of the folks there—they were kind, and something told me to say yes. I had no idea how much it would impact my career. That one connection led to multiple opportunities, including being profiled by Microsoft a year later. From 2018-2021, I DJ’d and presented at Microsoft events. And from 2022-2024, I served as Music Director for their signature experiences. Still wild to look back and see how one moment can open so many doors.
