It was a busy term for members in Shepparton with the introduction of the TAT-FIT program.
Across eight weeks, students from local schools took part in a range of challenges, including educational activities, bike rides, fitness sessions and hand on projects β all aimed at building positive relationships between police and students.
It was great to see students come together and build relationships with local officers. By the end of term, many were more confident asking for help and chatting with police and other adults, while also trying something new.
Safe to say the kids loved every minute, with one saying, βI love TAT-FIT, itβs the best thing about my week!β
While the program has wrapped for Term One, we hope to see it come back, bigger and better, soon.
