SU Slam’s purpose is to provide an outlet for SU students to study, research, analyze, write, and perform slam poetry. Members of the club will be able to learn valuable skills, such as: writing slam poems, stage presence, and performing in front of an audience. SU Slam also aims to connect with other clubs and organizations on campus to give students the opportunity to perform their work, participate in the writing community, and uplift their voices.
