An individual has made numerous comments on both Central Michigan University’s and Central Michigan Life’s social media, leaving some students concerned about campus safety. ⁠ ⁠ CMU released a statement at 11:20 a.m. on Monday morning addressing the situation. ⁠ ⁠ “Since Sunday afternoon, Central Michigan University Police, the Division of University Engagement and Student Affairs and University Marketing and Communications have been tracking concerning comments made by an individual on CMU social media accounts,” CMU wrote in a press release. ⁠ ⁠ “Law enforcement has been conducting an investigation and has taken measures to increase campus safety while the investigation continues.
