One RGB camera. No depth sensor. Real-time 3D tracking at 30 FPS.
Researchers at Imperial College London just made this possible with KV-Tracker — a method that lets heavy vision models run fast enough for real-time use by caching what the camera already saw instead of reprocessing every frame.
This changes robotics. No expensive hardware. No retraining. Just a regular camera doing what used to cost thousands in sensors.
