An idyllic A-frame cabin tucked into a forested part of the northern Oregon Coast Range has been named Airbnb’s most wish-listed home in the state.
Each year, Airbnb recognizes one standout short-term rental in each of the 50 states based on results of an online survey of travelers. Most of this year’s survey respondents — 86% — say they’re interested in visiting remote or rural destinations.
Topping the list among thousands of Oregon’s active Airbnb listings is Idyll Ridge: an Unplugged Retreat along the Nehalem River Valley. The undeveloped area is 55 miles northwest of Portland, where U.S. 26 meets tiny Oregon 103 at Jewell Junction.
