The Lloyd Center’s legacy officially has an end date. The Northeast Portland mall — which in recent years has become an eclectic incubator for small local businesses — is slated to close in order to make way for redevelopment plans envisioned under a master plan approved in March. Lloyd Center’s owners announced Thursday that Aug. 8 will be the last day to visit the mall.
