They call Mount Yotei the “Mount Fuji of Hokkaido” for a reason. 🗻✨ From a 10:00 AM “late” start to navigating zero visibility at times, and I had the flu, this was tough at times 😅. The reward? Over 6,000 feet of untouched, creamy Japow and a view of the Sea of Japan that I’ll never forget. We finished in about 6 hours all in, with our “detour” mistake 🤘🏼 Even a 2-hour “scenic detour” (aka a very long boot-pack back to the car) couldn’t dampen the mood.
