Two goals from Kobe McDonald and another from Dylan Flynn helped Mayo to a 3-16 to 1-12 win over Galway in the Connacht U20 group game which ensures that Mayo top the table and take their place in the provincial final in two weeks while Galway must now face Roscommon in the semi-final after the Rossies defeated Leitrim. Both Mayo and Galway had three wins from three going into the game but with the aid of the wind and two brilliant McDonald strikes, Mayo took a 2-10 to 0-4 lead into the break. Galway were on top in the early stages of the second half but a series of wides halted their march and Flynn's opportunistic green flag gave Mayo the cushion to see out the game and a vital rest ahead of the final in two weeks. #GaelicGames #Under20
