Watching this dock come back to life has been wild. The last hurricane literally sent storm surge waves up and over our boathouse, which still feels crazy to even say out loud. 🌊 So this time around we’re doing it differently. Every decision is about building it stronger, smarter, and as hurricane-resistant as possible. New structural framing, raising heights, better materials… the goal is simple: build it once and not have to rebuild it every hurricane season. Because let’s be honest… this is not a cheap project, and after seeing what surge can do, we’re determined to do it right this time.
