Quick story: Had the honor of meeting “Mr. Clutch” in Vegas during my 1st Summer League with the Kings as a guest coach in 2018. He was waiting in front of the hotel by himself, so I took the opportunity to meet him. I introduced myself and explained I was coaching in the Philippines, and hoping one day to get an opportunity in the NBA. I remember him telling me, “If this is what you love son, then keep going.” Those words resonated with me, and I’m forever thankful he took the time to have a quick chat with me.
