20 years later... Quick story: After finishing my D2 career csusbmbb I was lucky enough to be added to two NBA Summer League teams (The NBA Summer Pro League at the Long Beach St. Pyramid/ The Nike Real Run at Veterans Park in Carson IYKYK). Got a chance to spend an entire summer working out with my guy Bo Outlaw, Penny Hardaway (during his trade from Orlando to PHX, and Baron Davis among other NBA/ Overseas pros. Safe to say the coach was NOT a fan of me being added to the team, but because of this guy always looking out for me, I not only stayed, but had a great summer (The coach showed me love at the end). Coming from a D2 school, it was my first experience training with NBA guys, and Bo from Day 1 set the bar for everyone with his incredible work ethic. Learned so much from him, and thankful he pushed me everyday to be my best.
