As part of #WorldHealthDay's campaign to #StandWithScience, Optica believes accurate data is critical to the development of health technologies. This new open-source software tool enables interactive, adjustable and non-planar cutaways into volumes generated from optical imaging data. The tool, called the clipping spline, can be used with any optical imaging technique that produces volumetric images, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), photoacoustic tomography, light-sheet microscopy, optical projection tomography and confocal microscopy.
