It's #TeacherTuesday! Today, we are highlighting two special educators from Lyal Burkholder Academy of Environmental Studies, Ms. Erica Cazett and Ms. Melissa Wilkinson. Ms. Cazett's passion for teaching at Burkholder comes from the kids. Their energy, curiosity, and one-of-a-kind personalities make every day fun and meaningful. She loves being part of their journey and encouraging them as they discover how much they are capable of. Ms. Wilkinson's passion for teaching comes from helping students discover their own unique visual language. For her, the art room is more than a classroom—it’s a safe space for expression and creativity. Her greatest joy is seeing students have those “aha!” moments, whether it’s finding the perfect color, mastering a new technique, or simply gaining the confidence to sign their name.
