The unique Bentley Batur 'Black Rose' could be an exquisite objet d'art. Instead it emerges to light up Japan's winter roads.
An edition of just 18 Baturs were built by Mulliner, each a wholly individual commission. The Black Rose uses intricately 3D printed rose gold – an industry first – for interior controls.
Paintwork is shimmering bespoke Black Rose for the lower body, beneath a Beluga black roof. Rose gold accents include sills, vents, grille, the belt-line blade – even the under-surface of the deployable tail spoiler, a hidden delight.
The age old pleasure of personal craftsmanship meets Bentley's forward-facing design language and engineering. Bold yet restrained, it perfectly fits the wintry landscape and modern architecture of Karuizawa. Japan's is a culture that harmoniously respects both tradition and high-tech.
