City life, car culture and astonishing roads and scenery – all in a day’s drive in a Bentley Brooklands through Switzerland.   Zurich is a city noted for its quality of life as well as huge financial heft. The Brooklands glides through its early morning streets like an ocean liner leaving port.   South-east along the highway lies the Ace Café Lucerne, where soul food and car community meet. You don’t have to fit a type. All passions are welcome.   Lake Lucerne sends its limbs through the landscape from here, taking the Axenstrasse. It clings to cliff-sides plunging below into the vivid blue water.   The Sustenpassis a spectacular broad hairpinned road climbing to such an altitude it’s closed to snow for eight months of the year. The Brooklands’s 6.75-litre V8 relishes the workout.   Finally, on a different limb of the lake, lies the chocolate-box town of Gersau. Pausing for the sunset, already replaying a mental reel of the day.   #Bentley #BentleyStories
