The lion wasn’t even the scariest part… it was the fact that we couldn’t move 😭 we’re at Aquila Safari in Cape Town and the whole day started so soft, wine, dancing, everything felt like a whole luxury experience we get out there and I’m seeing elephants, zebras, rhinos… I’m like yeah this is exactly what I came for then we pull up on this lion and I can already tell… he not just sitting there for fun next thing you know… the jeep just STOPS like completely dead… in front of him and I’m sitting there like yeah… this is how people end up on discovery channel 😭 people in the jeep talking and making noises, I’m over here silent like please don’t let him come over here we were stuck for a good three minutes and I was praying the whole time God really covered me because he could’ve easily walked up to us if he wanted to and seeing the other lions eating on the way out??? yeah… I was ready to go 😭 #BlackTravel #SafariStory #TravelLife
