UPDATE: 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn has put in a crystal ball prediction in favor of Notre Dame for Class of 2027 four-star quarterback target Wonderful “Champ” Minds IV from Vero Beach, Florida. I originally posted about his unofficial visit with the Fighting Irish, which made me nervous. Ohio State was also involved in the recruitment, but it was hard to envision joining the Buckeyes with them already having a signal-caller in their recruiting class. If Monds IV does go to Notre Dame, it would be disappointing. Even though Florida State should have quarterbacks on the roster in 2027, such as Kevin Sperry, Malachi Marshall, and Jaden O’Neal, they should add as many talented quarterbacks as possible. The Seminoles will likely have to turn its attention to three-star Logan Flaherty (UCF commit), which I like his skill set but it is harder to grab recruits that are committed elsewhere.
