As a college student, Paul Ardayfio began staying after class, curious to learn more from professors about neuroscience or biopsychology. Their answers left him wanting more. "Well, I don't know the answer," they would tell him. "And it's not just because I don't personally know it, it's because the field doesn't know. After completing his undergraduate degree at Detroit's Wayne State University, he received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School.
