#T1D and I was told I could never race again. I didn’t give up though. I found a great doctor who told me that if I worked hard, I could race. I started with changes to my diet and exercise, and I began to use devices that collect data while I’m on the track. I’ve learned to lean on my medical team in California to help me manage my diabetes.
