🚀 "My mother's enthusiasm for science has always been a huge inspiration for me. She's actually a scientist, too—she works in the Neuroscience department at Lilly. She really enjoys what she does, and that same dedication has been a powerful motivator for me. It just so happens that I have a huge passion for #science, too. 🔬 And now I am fortunate to lead one of two crystallization experiments that will be conducted on the #ISS U.S. National Laboratory. 🌌 Last year, my supervisor sent an email asking if anyone was interested in getting involved in a crystallization-in-microgravity experiment. I sheepishly said I was. It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I'm examining the crystallization of a medically relevant protein in #microgravity.
