Ravana and Kubera were not just rivals…
they were brothers.
Both born to sage Vishrava—
but their paths couldn’t be more different.
Kubera, through discipline and तप, became the lord of wealth and the ruler of golden Lanka.
He earned the दिव्य Pushpaka Vimana—a celestial aircraft that moved at will.
Ravana, on the other hand, chose शक्ति over संतुलन.
Through intense penance, he gained immense power and boons from the gods.
But power wasn’t enough.
Blinded by ambition, Ravana attacked Lanka—
not an enemy’s kingdom…
his own brother’s.
He defeated Kubera.
He seized Lanka.
He took the Pushpaka Vimana.
Kubera didn’t curse him.
He didn’t fight back with vengeance.
He simply left.
And Ravana became the king of Lanka—
a kingdom built not by earning…
but by taking.
That विजय looked like success.
But it carried the seed of his downfall.
Because in the world of dharma—
what you take unjustly,
eventually demands a price.
