A group of Chinese endangered species, the white dolphins, also called the “giant pandas of the sea”, has been spotted swimming off the coast in east China’s Fujian Province.⁣ ⁣ There are at least five adults and a tiny gray calf. The calf is believed to be less than a month old and is in good health.⁣ ⁣ Chinese white dolphins are known to be highly sensitive to water quality, making them important indicators of a healthy marine ecosystem.
